Les Mills
- On-going Education and Maintaining Certifications
Staying up to date The incredible popularity and success of the Les MillsTM programs is thanks in part to the constant development and improvement of each program. These advances in program structure, exercise use and specific technique are essential for any instructor, in order to teach the programs correctly.
What was "current" for each program even one or two years ago may be very outdated today. There are serious implications in terms of quality and representation of a world-class product if you are not up to date with these changes. If you don't keep up to date, your certification will expire and you will need to retrain if you want to continue teaching.
To ensure you recreate the intended, up-to-date fitness experience and provide your class members with effective results, Les MillsTM produces quarterly DVD and "live" workshop education sessions with each new release. Both are valuable learning aids and offer you choice in how to improve your skills and stay current with the programs in which you are certified.
To maintain your certification - current requirement (2010)
You must attend three out of four quarterly workshops per year.
Please note that, if you do not keep up to date with the current ongoing education requirements, you risk loosing your certification and have to retrain in order to become active and continue teaching.
